Memery Crystal have been a long standing client of Total Office, so our interiors team were more than happy to assist with their relocation project.
Following their recent move to a new building in Fleet Street, London law firm Memery Crystal wanted to update their office space to complement the contemporary look and feel of their other floors within the building.
The project was to provide a whole range of furniture for their 6th floor to accommodate partners and admin support. The team took the time to listen to those who would be working within the environment to gather an idea as to how the space was to be used.
The 6th floor is a large open space, one of the biggest problems that the team needed to address was noise-control. The Total Office Interiors team overcame this by installing storage units which were strategically placed across the floor and fitted with noise-reducing acoustic panels, this really helped to minimise sound in the area.
A grey colour pallet was selected for the project. The desking, seating and bespoke meeting room furniture chosen was perfectly in-keeping with the design of the buildings interior, yet practical for every day use.
Following a re-brand, the Total Office Interiors team were appointed to revitalise the offices for The Shard’s management team.
The Total Office Interiors team were initially tasked with refreshing the welfare area within Shard Quarter. The area itself is in 24 hour use, and so the furniture specified needed to be durable, comfortable and in-keeping with their new branding.
The project quickly evolved and soon Total Office Interiors were asked to step in and redesign other areas of the office, such as the main reception, breakout and meeting areas, as well as provide ergonomic seating for the security and contractor areas.
The interiors team worked closely with the team at Shard Quarter to understand their requirements for each area, and how they were used on a day-to-day basis. With this information Total Office Interiors were able to design the space to meet the client’s brief using their knowledge and expertise to fully optimise the space in all areas.
As the furniture itself was a huge part of the redesign, the team worked closely with chosen manufacturers to sample select pieces and arrange showroom visits.
